The Havant Fairtrade groups aims to make people aware of the value of Fairtrade and to start buying the products. We’re happy to give talks and work with local groups.
And we always plan a a series of events during Fairtrade Fortnight and support One World Week.
We haven’t been meeting recently because of Coronavirus but we are talking about preparations for next year’s Fairtrade Fortnight 22 February – 7 March 2021.
It’s going to focus on the challenges that climate change brings to farmers, and how Fairtrade can help.

This is from the National Campaigner Committee:
Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 will build further on the importance of better incomes for farmers. This will be shown through the lens of building resilience to the impacts of climate change. § The main objective will be to educate and raise awareness on climate change impacts and the need for better incomes to tackle these. The key messages will develop around how better incomes and the choice to use the Fairtrade Premium as farmers see fit in their communities provide flexibility to respond to growing challenges including unexpected pressures from climate change.
